Mark Dantonio has had it pretty good over the last 12 months. The Michigan State coach led the Spartans to an 11-1 regular season, a Big Ten championship game victory against Ohio State, and a Rose Bowl win against Stanford.
Recently, Dantonio was named a “Michiganian of the Year” by the Detroit News. Here’s a photo of the plaque he received:

Michigan State and Dantonio could have a pretty solid 2014-15, too. The Spartans are expected to start the season ranked in the top 20.
