Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo and his assistant Dwayne Stephens were spotted in Oakland last night, taking in the playoff matchup between the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Clippers. Why? Because former Spartan Draymond Green has become a solid role player for the Warriors – in fact, last night, he played 33 minutes, scored 13 points and pulled down 11 boards. Regardless of Izzo’s expression in the below photo, you can imagine he was very proud of his former star.

Unfortunately for Izzo and other Golden State fans, the Warriors lost a close one on a controversial no-call. Still, it’s great to see college coaches supporting their players long after they’ve left campus.
