One of the Midwest Region’s final four teams has been a force all season long. Another is just rounding into shape at the perfect time. Michigan won the Big Ten regular season this year behind star sharpshooter Nik Stauskas. Tennessee has been beating teams around the rim with double-double machine Jarnell Stokes, as well as a trio of talented guards. The winner of this one will face the winner of the Kentucky-Louisville grudge match.

Prediction: Tennessee may be the hottest team left in the field. Jarnell Stokes is coming off of a masterful 17 point, 18 rebound performance, while Josh Richardson broke out to score 26. Michigan, however, has been scoring all season. Nik Stauskas, Caris LeVert, and Glenn Robinson III are all capable of lighting teams up, while Jordan Morgan gave the Wolverines a huge lift inside with a 15 point, 10 rebound performance against a big Texas frontline last round. These two teams seem awfully balanced, but we’ll lean towards the one that has been a more consistent winner, and take Michigan in a close one here.
