Michigan has partnered with Amazon for a documentary.
Today, Michigan announced in an official release that it will be partnering with Amazon, Big Ten Network and The Montag Group in order to film a “behind-the-scenes documentary” about the Wolverines’ 2017 football season.
It will release on Amazon Prime in 2018.
“We think documenting this season will reveal that our university and football program are unique environments that equip our student-athletes for success in both academics and athletics,” said Warde Manuel, U-M’s Donald R. Shepherd Director of Athletics, per the release. “We are excited to work with great partners and to break new ground as the first collegiate program to participate in this digital space.”
The documentary will chronicle the 2017 season through head coach Jim Harbaugh, other assistant coaches, and of course, the players, and will provide in inside look into one of the most well-known programs in college sports. It will also provide a look into the lives of the athletes and coaches off the field as well.

Amazon Prime subscribers will be able to watch the documentary for no extra charge.
