For whatever reason, this college basketball season seems like it’s been defined by the always-controversial charge/block call. In last night’s Michigan vs. Tennessee Sweet 16 matchup, Wolverines forward Jordan Morgan took a charge from Vols forward Jarnell Stokes in the game’s final moments, essentially securing the victory for his team. While that call has been heavily debated by analysts and fans since, we’ve already got a new decision to question – Arizona’s Nick Johnson was hit with a charge with 3.2 seconds to play in tonight’s Elite Eight contest against Wisconsin. The Badgers hung on to win, 64-63.
In fact, even Morgan himself thought the call was ridiculous. Check this out.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA and people mad at me…

Translation: “If you think the call I got was fortunate, this one was even more so.” Whether or not you agree, the referees have surely been involved a great deal in many of the outcomes in this year’s NCAA Tournament.
