Jabrill Peppers is trying his best to downplay the comparisons to the greatest defensive back in the history of Michigan football, but he’s not going to escape them.
The five-star cornerback will apparently wear No. 2 at Michigan, the number of former Heisman winner Charles Woodson.

Peppers, a top 10 recruit in the 2014 recruiting class, will become the third Michigan defensive player to wear No. 2 since Woodson did in 1997. Cato June and Shawn Crable also wore No. 2.
