It looks like Pep Hamilton may be heading to Michigan after all.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Cleveland Browns’ associate head coach will join Jim Harbaugh’s staff as the assistant head coach/passing game coordinator.
This move was rumored for a while, though Browns head coach Hue Jackson said Sunday he “felt comfortable” Hamilton would stay in Cleveland.
The 42-year-old Hamilton worked under Harbaugh as a wide receivers coach at Stanford in 2010. He then served as the Cardinal offensive coordinator from 2011-12 and the offensive coordinator of the Indianapolis Colts from 2013-15.
