While former Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson is certainly a physical specimen, he’s long been criticized for a weak throwing arm – so much so that NFL teams are looking at the Wolverines standout at positions like wide receiver and cornerback instead.
Robinson did little to quiet his critics yesterday, as he couldn’t reach home plate when throwing out the first pitch at the Tigers game. Granted, he wouldn’t have hit a batter in the head, like his counterpart Johnny Manziel would have last Sunday, but this was still a pretty weak performance. John Wall probably called him up and thanked him.
Of course, Twitter is having a great time with the gaffe. Ohio State fans probably all slept like babies.
Well I guess this answers any lingering questions about Denard Robinson playing QB in the NFL. twitpic.com/cicger

Based on his First Pitch I assume the Jets will be scheduling a visit anytime now with Denard Robinson

I didn’t think Denard Robinson could look worse than when he throws a football, until I saw him throw a baseball…
