Missouri native Stephen Loszewski, a die-hard Michigan fan, had hoped to play for the Wolverines one day, but his football career was tragically cut short by acute lymphoblastic leukemia. While the disease has taken away his ability to fulfill that dream of Division I football, with the help of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and ESPN, the Michigan program was able to put together an amazing day for Loszewski.
He and his family made a trip to Ann Arbor in late June, where he was given the full blue-chip recruit treatment. He watched video messages from Chad Henne and Denard Robinson, ran through the tunnel at The Big House with the Michigan team, and even met Wolverine legend Desmond Howard.
This is an incredibly job by Brady Hoke, the Michigan players, and everyone else involved. It certainly seemed like an event that the Loszewskis will cherish forever.
