Head coach Tim Miles and his Nebraska Cornhuskers have been proving people wrong all year long – but apparently they’ve proven some computers wrong too. Miles, who has made it known how he feels about Ken Pomeroy’s use of statistical analysis to predict outcomes, tweeted out a little dig this afternoon ahead of the Big Ten Tournament. Pomeroy had noted that his computer still “doesn’t respect” the Cornhuskers.

For reference, here’s the fist time Miles “broke up” with Pomeroy’s computer. As you can see, it had Nebraska losing its first 12 games in Big Ten play.

Miles has done an amazing job at both turning around a terrible basketball program and winning over its fan base. It’s great to see him mixing it up with the naysayers in a positive way.
