Sometimes, even early in games, moments arise when a team knows that it absolutely has to make a play. The Nebraska Cornhuskers had one of those moments in the Gator Bowl today, and they came up absolutely clutch.
Nebraska was leading Georgia 17-12 midway through the third quarter, but the offense was backed up on its own one-yard line and facing a tough 3rd-and-14…if the Bulldogs forced a punt, they would command great field position and a whole lot of momentum. But that never happened, because quarterback Tommy Armstrong Jr. dropped back and fired a bomb over the top of the Georgia defense to Quincy Enunwa. Enunwa then shrugged off a would-be tackler and took the pass 99 yards to the house:
