It appears that the NCAA is really cracking down on targeting in college football. Ohio State’s Bradley Roby became the 4th player ejected this week alone early in the game against Iowa after putting a big hit on Hawkeye C.J. Fiedorowicz. Here’s a GIF of the play, courtesy of Cork Gaines:
Players are going to have to start wrapping up instead of going for the hit stick. Roby’s ejection was a costly one for Ohio State — the Buckeyes are currently tied with Iowa late in the third quarter.
