This afternoon, Ohio State defeated Michigan 42-41 in Ann Arbor in what might have been the best game of the college football season. Michigan went for a 2-point conversion and the win in the game’s final minute, but Devin Gardner was picked off by OSU’s Tyvis Powell.
You’d think that after playing such a hard-fought (literally, a fight broke out) game, the teams would show some respect for each other. Nope, not in this rivalry. After the game, Michigan’s star offensive lineman Taylor Lewan was critical of the Buckeyes:
Taylor Lewan; “That’s not the No. 3 team in the country.”

Ouch — we’re assuming that Lewan isn’t saying that Ohio State is better than No. 3 in the land. But undefeated is undefeated, and the Buckeyes have certainly earned their ranking so far this season — Lewan is just going to have too accept the Buckeyes’ success, and the Wolverines’ loss to them.
