The Buckeyes are losing two players.
Ohio State’s men’s basketball program announced this evening the departure of two players.
New head coach Chris Holtmann announced that freshman point guard Braxton Beverly is transferring and redshirt freshman Derek Funderburk has been dismissed from the program.
Beverly was a three-star recruit out of Kentucky in the 2017 class.
Funderburk was a four-star recruit in the 2016 class. He redshirted the 2016-17 season and had previously been suspended.
Gonna be a tough year for new Ohio State coach Chris Holtmann. Freshman Braxton Beverly granted his release and Derek Funderburk dismissed.

It’s certainly going to be an interesting first season in Columbus for Holtmann.
