The Carolina Panthers rookie has been dealing with an injury.
The Panthers have big plans for Curtis Samuel. Carolina took the former Ohio State star in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft and wants to pair him with fellow college standout Christian McCaffrey in the offense led by Cam Newton.
Lately, though, Samuel has been sidelined.
The former Buckeyes’ star has been dealing with a hamstring injury.
Feel bad for Curtis Samuel. Has only participated in one practice (if I'm remembering correctly). Told reporters it's just a "minor strain."

Samuel hasn’t practiced since the first day of training camp.
“It’s just a minor strain. I’m just trying to get it back right, get as much treatment as I can,” Samuel told reporters. “It’s definitely getting better every day. I’m just pushing myself whenever I can. I definitely have goals for myself, and I’m working as hard as I can to get back out there, but I’ve got to take care of my body first – with the trainers and when I’m not with them – to put in extra work and get myself right.”
Hopefully he can get healthy soon, because an offense featuring both Samuel and McCaffrey should be extremely exciting to watch.
