Size-wise, the explosive Buckeye wasn’t expected to be that impressive. But his wingspan is good for a player his size. For instance, New York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard has a similar body type to Samuel, but his wingspan is three inches shorter. Shepard was a second-round pick in 2016 and had a very productive rookie season in New York.
Samuel exploded last season for OSU, rushing for 771 yards and eight touchdowns while catching 74 passes for 865 yards and seven more scores.
