ESPN’s Paul Finebaum named the two teams he wants to see square off in the national title game most.
ESPN college football analyst Paul Finebaum has weighed in regarding which two teams he wants to see face off for the national title this year.
Finebaum, who mostly covers the SEC for the network, wants to see Alabama, last year’s runner-up, take on Ohio State. He wants to see if Urban Meyer, who he considers the second-best coach in college football, can close the gap on Nick Saban regarding total national titles.
For the record, Saban has five, while Meyer has three.
Check out Finebaum’s reasoning here:
Alabama vs. Ohio State would be a fantastic title game, but we’re pretty sure fans of every other college football team would rather see their own team playing for it all. We’ll see how it all shakes out.
