Paul Finebaum is still buying Ohio State.
Ohio State, which lost to Penn State in State College, Pa. Saturday night, remains both a Big Ten and College Football Playoff contender.
ESPN college football analyst Paul Finebaum is certainly a believer in the Buckeyes’ ability to win the conference and make the playoff.
He said the following on ESPN’s College Football Live today, via 247Sports:
“I believe in Urban and I really think they will run the table,” Finebaum said. “They’ve had a tough couple weeks on the road in the Big Ten, but I think they can navigate the rest of the way. They have a big challenge a week from Saturday night against Nebraska and obviously the Michigan game, but I think they’ll beat Michigan and win the Big Ten championship and be right back in the playoffs.
“I don’t see a scenario where you’d have a dominating team keeping them out. I think the Big Ten champion is in regardless.”
Ohio State is set to host Northwestern this Saturday before facing Nebraska in a potential top 10 showdown.
The Buckeyes remain a College Football Playoff favorite in Las Vegas, too.
