Ohio State apparel stores are worried about the expected decline in sales of their No. 5 jerseys with Braxton Miller missing the 2014 season, but one campus bookstore seems to have found a creative way to move the product.
There’s a football mannequin at the Barnes & Noble on Ohio State’s campus, featuring a Buckeye helmet, scarlet No. 5 jersey, and gray pants. Someone–a store employee, a student, or, maybe, a Michigan fan–garnished the jersey with two band-aids, an obvious tribute to Miller’s shoulder injury.

Ohio State fans unwilling to purchase a new uniform for the upcoming season now have a way to make their No. 5 jerseys relevant. Just place a couple of band-aids on the right shoulder of the jersey and you’re good to go.
The Buckeyes open their 2014 season Aug. 30 against Navy in Baltimore.
