5-star Ohio State recruit Trevon Grimes reaffirmed his commitment to the Buckeyes on Twitter in light of Tyjon Lindsey’s decommitment.
This morning, 5-star wide receiver and Ohio State commit Trevon Grimes took to Twitter to reassure uneasy Ohio State fans of his commitment after news broke of Tyjon Lindsey’s decommitment from the Buckeyes.
Lindsey, a 4-star wide receiver, initially committed to Ohio State on August 22 with Grimes.
In the tweet, Grimes makes it very clear he’s staying with the Buckeyes, while also giving a slight nudge to Lindsey to do the same.

With Lindsey’s departure, Grimes is the lone wide receiver in the 18-man recruiting class, and the Buckeyes now have the No. recruiting 2 class in the nation behind Alabama, per 247Sports.
Grimes is the No. 5 ranked receiver in the nation, while Lindsey is ranked No. 6. Nebraska, USC and Oregon are the most likely suitors to go after Lindsey.
