Legendary college football head coach Lou Holtz gave a speech to the Buckeyes after his team won the Ohio State spring game.
Ohio State held its annual spring game today in front of a crowd of over 80,000 fans, and team Scarlet defeated Gray by a score of 38-31. There were plenty of highlights to go around, including freshman Tate Martell running for a touchdown on his first snap, but one of the highlights took place after the game was already over.
Lou Holtz, honorary coach of the Scarlet and a former Ohio State assistant coach, gave an inspiring speech to the Ohio State players after the game was over.

“This football team has great potential,” Holtz begins, “I love the feeling, I love the chemistry.”
He later goes on to talk about “choices,” telling the Buckeyes, “wherever you are, whatever is gonna happen to this team, it is going to be because of the choices you make…You will be champions if you all make good choices.”
Holtz, whose head coaching career spanned nearly five decades, definitely knows a thing or two about how champions are made.
The Ohio State Buckeyes will kick off their regular season in Bloomington on Thursday, August 31,as they take on the Indiana Hoosiers.
