Wilson lost a bet on his alma mater.
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is a good sport.
Wilson bet a Seahawks ballboy (and Ohio State fan) on the outcome of last weekend’s Big Ten Championship Game. Ohio State beat Wisconsin, Wilson’s alma mater, so the former Badger had to pay up.
Wilson posted a video of himself wearing for Ohio State star Troy Smith’s BCS National Championship game jersey.

Interestingly, Ohio State wore white when it appeared in the 2007 BCS title game with Smith at quarterback. They wore red the following year but Smith had moved on to the NFL.
Either way, nice job by Wilson holding his end of the bargain.
