Here’s what the ESPN college football analyst is thinking.
Kirk Herbstreit pointed to one thing late in Ohio State’s loss to Oklahoma on Saturday night.
The vertical passing game.
The ESPN college football analyst said until the Buckeyes can prove, consistently, that they’re a threat to move the ball deep, they’re going to struggle. Defenses can clog the line of scrimmage with no fear of getting beat down the field.
Herbstreit says Ohio State “needs to go back to the drawing board.”
Buckeyes will need to go back to the drawing board. Tough one for them at home against a good OU team. https://t.co/9jT3wu0Gha

Going back to the drawing board won’t include a change at the quarterback position, though.
Urban Meyer said after the game that J.T. Barrett is his quarterback moving forward.
Ohio State is set to host Army next Saturday.
