Wednesday morning, the Ohio State Buckeyes were able to flip four-star wide receiver recruit KJ Hill from Arkansas, bolstering their receiving corps. Hill’s decision came as a surprise to many, and Razorbacks supporters were understandably upset, considering that he was committed to their program just a few weeks ago. Hill also hails from North Little Rock, Arkansas, so it was especially tough for fans to swallow.
In fact, the AAU Football Sports Director of Arkansas, Reggie Swinton, who is also a former NFL return man, believes that if Hill isn’t able to be successful at Ohio State, he’s going to have a “hard time” returning to his home state to live.

Whether or not you agree with Swinton’s assessment, it’s clear that some people take college football recruiting a bit too seriously.
