Word came out late last night that Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller has decided to return for his senior season in Columbus, but a recent tweet by head coach Urban Meyer’s wife Shelley seems to cast a bit of doubt about those reports:
Sure hope it’s true that #5 will remain a Buckeye. Don’t know if the “reports” are official. ’14 season will b GREAT w new recruits-#luv#5

Obviously, this absolutely doesn’t mean that Miller is actually leaving, but one would think that if a decision was official, Meyer’s wife would know—or would at least keep speculation like this off of Twitter.
Miller finished the season with over 3,000 total yards and 36 total touchdowns, and is a two-time Big Ten offensive player of the year. If he returns, he has a chance to become the first player to win that award three times, and will look to show off improved accuracy as a passer.
