After starting the college basketball season 15-0, the Ohio State Buckeyes have now suffered two straight losses (sound familiar?). This afternoon, OSU was looking to rebound from a loss at Michigan State earlier in the week, but fell to Iowa 84-74 in Columbus. However, the Buckeyes didn’t lose because of a lack of effort — the Hawkeyes are no joke this season and Ohio State was outplayed despite the team’s best efforts.
Sometimes you just don’t catch the breaks — a great example of this occurred late in the game when OSU point guard Aaron Craft displayed his typical outlandish hustle trying to save a ball that was going out of bounds. Craft dove out of play and into the cheerleaders, and not only did he not come up with the possession for the Buckeyes, but I’m pretty sure he knocked a girl out too:
Don’t worry, we know that Aaron Craft is a spectacular guy — he didn’t mean to bring the pain.
