Penn State football players are pretty good at football. As for Gaelic games — namely Gaelic football and hurling — well, let’s just say the team needs to practice some more. In a video released by the school’s athletic department on Thursday, the Nittany Lion football team tried out the two aforementioned sports, while senior defensive back Adrian Amos provided commentary. It’s pretty hilarious watching the team struggle to understand sports that they probably have never played until yesterday, and the team’s reaction to the hurling goalkeeper saving a shot on goal towards the end of the video was priceless.
Penn State will begin its 2014 season on Aug. 30 against Central Florida in Dublin.
