Three-star defensive tackle Jessie Altman has been charged with murder.
Attalla (Ala.) Etowah defensive tackle Jessie Altman is a 2019 recruit with a number of Power 5 offers, according to Rivals.com.
He’s also facing a capital murder charge.
According to The Gadsden Times, the 17-year-old Altman and two other teens were arrested yesterday in connection with a slaying that occurred last week. Broderick Lawrence Pearson, 18, and Lonterry Orlando Harrison, 17, were the other two teens authorities picked up on Wednesday.
While authorities have not commented publicly about the crime that led to the arrests, it is known that Gadsden police were looking for additional suspects in the murder last week of Aaron “A.J.” Huff, 18, of Gadsden.

Kalab Blake Whitworth, 16, of Gadsden, was arrested Monday evening. Tyler Michael Abbott, 17, of Hanceville, was arrested the day after the slaying. Both have been charged as adults, according to Gadsden Police Sgt. John Hallman.
While the details in this murder are scarce, the situations is clearly serious.
