Aeneas Hawkins, one of the top defensive tackles in the class of 2018, is pretty close to making his decision, and some big time schools are involved.
Hawkins spoke to Scout about his recruiting process, and outlined where his is. He intends to “shut down” things on May 10, and six schools stand out for him: five big-time programs and a local favorite.
“I’m going to shut everything down on May 10, and make my decision,” Hawkins stated. “I do not have an official list of schools because I have a few visits left to take. With that being said, Notre Dame, Alabama, Clemson, Penn State, Ohio State and Cincinnati are my favorites among schools I have visited.”
Head over to Scout for his breakdowns of all six of those schools. He doesn’t really tip his hand much as to where he is leaning.
This reiterates the date he originally set back in January, so the timetable here seems pretty firm.
