Anfernee Jennings is done for the year.
When Alabama takes the field against Georgia on Monday night, the Tide will have to do so without linebacker Anfernee Jennings who was injured in the game against Clemson. With just around three minutes left in the game, Jennings went down with a knee injury, and needed assistance getting off the field.
Jennings tweeted out a message to Alabama fans early Wednesday morning announcing his 2017 season is over.
Here’s the message from Jennings.

Jennings’ injury leads to an extremely thin Alabama linebacker corps who leaned on Jennings with injuries to Dylan Moses and Shaun Dion Hamilton. Without Jennings, Alabama faces a two-headed monster in Georgia’ Nick Chubb and Sony Michel.
Alabama and Georgia kick off at 8:00 p.m. ET on January 8.
