Yes, these are Big 12 officials, but trust us, they’re qualified to make defensive calls as well. Ah, Big 12 defense jokes never get old.
The Tigers and the Tide are ready to clash once more, in a rematch of last year’s national title. Last year, Alabama edged Clemson 45-40 to win its fourth title in just seven years. Can Clemson take down the most dominant team in college football? Or will Alabama roll to yet another national title and run its undefeated streak to 27 games?
These questions and more will be answered when Deshaun Watson and company face off against the Tide’s vaunted defense.
Clemson and Alabama kick off at 8:00 p.m. E.T. on ESPN.
