After planning to announce his decision on Sunday, 4-star defensive end Brenton Cox has pushed back his announcement “a few days.”
Georgia and Ohio State will have to wait a little bit longer to see which one of the two schools landed the No. 3 defensive end in the nation.
4-star defensive end Brenton Cox, after asserting he would make a announcement on Sunday, took to Twitter to let everyone know he would be pushing the announcement back “a few days to make sure the right choice is being made.”

Cox, the No. 3 ranked defensive end in the class of 2018 according to 247 Sports, is a toss up between Georgia and Ohio State, and even analysts can’t agree on which school he’s likely to choose. According to 247 Sports, of the 12 predictions made by experts, six are for Georgia and six are for Ohio State.
The 6-foot-5, 247-pound DE is planning on attending Georgia’s spring game on Saturday, which could potentially influence his decision.
Cox, the No. 56 ranked player in the class of 2018 per 247 Sports, received competing offers from Georgia, Ohio State, Alabama, Florida, Clemson, Auburn, Tennessee, LSU and Louisville, among others, but it has all come down to Georgia and Ohio State for the junior.
