On Thursday, 4-star defensive end Cameron Latu released his final five schools.
On Thursday afternoon, 4-star defensive end Cameron Latu released his final five schools with an announcement on Twitter, and these are the remaining schools: Alabama, Nebraska, USC, Utah and Washington.
He made clear, however, that interested schools should still contact him.
“Before I drop my Top 5, I would first like to thank God for all the many blessing sent my way and how it changed my life for the better,” Latu wrote. “I also want to thank all my family and friends who played an important role in this recruiting process. Even though these are my Top 5, my recruitment is still open to other schools that are interested. This was really tough to decide, but I have to do what is best for me.”

At 6-foot-5, 236 pounds, Latu is the No. 6 ranked defensive end in the class of 2018, per the 247Sports rankings.
USC is the favorite to land Latu, according to 247Sports’ crystal ball predictions, and Alabama is the next most likely destination.
The Trojans boast the No. 19 ranked recruiting class in the country for 2018, and adding Latu would be another step in the right direction for a program that is determined to get back in the national championship game.
