DeMarcus Walker won’t ever live this down.
Football players play football. They do not, we repeat, do not, play baseball. Well, we guess a few quarterbacks can pitch for their respective teams while in college, much like Jameis Winston did at Florida State.
Hey, speaking of Florida State, and football players, we know one Seminole who won’t be gracing a baseball diamond any time soon.
DeMarcus Walker threw out the first pitch for the Seminoles’ baseball team recently, and it didn’t end well.
Former Florida State running back Dalvin Cook was a guest on SportsCenter and witnessed the hilarity that was Walker’s first pitch. Let’s just say that the next time Walker and Cook speak, this pitch will be the center of the conversation.
Here’s the pitch, and Cook’s reaction:

Like they said in the video, it’s tough. Plenty of people have struggled with the first pitch — presidents, Olympians, and many more just aren’t used to tossing the old two-seamer down the middle.
What we’re here for though, is Cook’s reaction.
We reacted the same way. You have to feel for Walker, but it’s hilarious to watch over and over again.
