The Buckeyes will have an easy win against the Spartans according to ESPN’s models.
Ohio State and Michigan State have played about as competitive a five-year series as possible, with the Buckeyes scoring just one more point than the Spartans over that period.
The two programs are set to meet in Columbus this Saturday and another close game wouldn’t come as a surprise to most.
It would to ESPN’s prediction models, though.
According to both FiveThirtyEight and the Football Power Index, Ohio State will have its way.
538 has Ohio State’s win percentage at 84 percent.
The Football Power Index gives OSU a 92 percent chance to win.
Michigan State has thrived as an underdog before, so this is nothing new for the Spartans.
Kickoff is set for noon on Saturday and the game will be televised on FOX.
