The college football season is over, and now too, is the dead period for recruiting. Coaches can now hit the recruiting trail in the hopes of landing commitments from the remaining crop of high school talent.
While the new Early Signing Period saw most top recruits sign their Letters of Intent, plenty of high school athletes are awaiting their decisions.
ESPN took a look at which teams will find success before the final signing period in early February.
- Florida State
Florida State, with new head coach Willie Taggart, needs to close strong in order to avoid being ranked near the middle of the Power 5 recruiting pack. The Seminoles currently sit at No. 34, according to 247Sports’ team rankings.
LSU and USC both own top 10 recruiting classes, but could get even richer.
