ESPN’s computer still isn’t buying the Utes at all.
ESPN’s Football Power Index still is a complete non-believer in Utah.
The Utes (4-0) have been ranked all season and come in at No. 19 in the latest Coaches’ Poll following their win over Arizona on Friday night.
ESPN’s computer thinks Kyle Whittingham’s team is crazy overrated, though.
The FPI has Utah at No. 49, 30 spots lower than the Coaches’ Poll ranking. It’s by far the biggest difference of any team in the country.
Here’s what the FPI is projecting for Utah:
- W-L record: 6.6-5.4
- Chance to win out: 0 percent
- Chance to win the Pac-12: 0.2 percent
- Strength of schedule: No. 6
