Air quality is a concern for Friday’s game.
The Pac-12 is monitoring the environment in the Bay Area ahead of Friday night’s Cal-Washington State game.
The wildfires in Northern California have devastated much of the area and while the Bears’ campus doesn’t appear to be in danger, the air quality is poor. Bay Area air quality monitors currently list the air conditions as unhealthy.
ESPN reporter Molly McGrath just flew into San Francisco to cover the game and she detailed what the air is like.
It doesn’t sound good.
Flying into SFO and there’s brown smoke everywhere. Our plane filled with the smell of smoke. Air quality a serious concern for #WSUvCal
