The school issued a statement.
On Saturday morning, a report alleged that Florida head coach Jim McElwain was coaching his final game for the Gators today against Georgia.
The report, from South-Florida based attorney Darren Heitner, alleged that McElwain’s representatives and the university were working on a buyout for the third-year coach.
Florida athletic director Scott Stricklin addressed the rumors with a very specific statement put out on Twitter.
