The Gators have lost a commitment from the top wideout.
Florida’s 2018 recruiting class took a blow tonight.
Ja’Marr Chase, a four-star wide receiver out of Louisiana, announced on Twitter that he’s de-committed from the Gators’ program.
The 6-foot-1, 195-pound wideout announced his decision on Twitter.

Chase’s decision comes a couple of weeks after Florida announced it had parted ways with head coach Jim McElwain.
The Gators’ 2018 class still includes several major recruits and is ranked the No. 10 class in the country by 247Sports.
