Florida’s standout defensive lineman appears to be coming back.
Florida appears to be getting one of its top defenders back in 2018.
Gators defensive lineman CeCe Jefferson, one of the best pass rushers in the SEC, seemed to announce on Twitter this evening that he’s returning for his final season.
“Senior Year about to be one to remember! Road To Atlanta! Go Gators!” he wrote on Twitter.
While that’s not an official “I’m returning to school” announcement, it sure sounds like one.

Jefferson is considered to be one of the top 20 defensive end prospects in the 2018 NFL Draft class, but his stock can surely benefit by returning to school. His 2017 season included 47 tackles with 13.5 tackles for a loss and 4.5 sacks.
Coming out of high school, Jefferson was a five-star recruit, ranked the No. 7 overall prospect in the 2015 class by 247Sports’ Composite Rankings. He is a native of Glen St. Mary, Florida.
