The five-star recruit has a new top school.
Jackson Carman, a five-star offensive tackle in the 2018 class, has long been an Ohio State-lean. That’s what everyone thought, anyway.
The 6-foot-6, 290-pound prospect – the No. 7 recruit in the class and the No. 1 OT – is an Ohio native and basically every recruiting expert has predicted he’ll commit to the Buckeyes.
Today, Carman tweeted a surprising update to his recruitment.
Clemson is now his top school.
Reporter: So what is now your top school?

Carman visited Clemson and, clearly, that visit went really well. The reigning national champions are now in the driver’s seat for the elite Ohio prospect.
Not getting Carman would be a significant blow to Ohio State’s 2018 class (though it will be really good with or without him) and a huge boost to the Tigers.
Carman also has offers from Alabama, Miami, Michigan State and USC, among other programs.
