This isn’t a great look for the Michigan head coach – if it’s true.
Michigan’s head football coach allegedly told a top recruit he didn’t care about his grades.
Jake Allen, a three-star QB in the 2017 class committed to Florida, says the Wolverines head coach told him he “didn’t give a sh-t” about his schoolwork.
From SEC Country:
“I was messing around and said, ‘I got a C in third grade.’ Jim Harbaugh overheard and screams, ‘I don’t give a s–t about your grades,’” Allen said. “Then he realized I was part of the quarterback group that had recruits in it so he just kind of walked away. It was weird. I couldn’t wait to get out of there after that, and we left early.”
When asked later about which coach was “not the nicest” during his recruitment, Allen again singled out the Michigan coach.
“Coach Harbaugh definitely rubbed me the wrong way,” he said.
If true, this isn’t a great look for Michigan’s football coach, who always seems to making headlines on the recruiting trail.
