The top quarterback recruit in the 2018 class says seven schools stand out.
The No. 1 quarterback recruit in the country is considering seven schools.
Justin Fields, a five-star quarterback out of Georgia, de-committed from Penn State earlier this month, told 247Sports that he’s considering seven schools.
Florida is believed by most recruiting experts to be the favorite to land him, but several elite programs are still in contention.
“Georgia, Florida State, Florida, Auburn, North Carolina, Ole Miss and Alabama a little bit. I just don’t talk to the (Alabama) coaches as much as the others,” he told 247Sports.
He named three schools that are recruiting him the hardest, too.
“Georgia, Florida and Florida State,” he said.
Fields, a 6-foot-3 dual-threat quarterback, is ranked the No. 3 overall recruit in the 2018 class by 247Sports’ Composite Rankings.
