The ESPN college football analyst likes the idea of the Vols hiring Tee Martin.
A former Tennessee football star could be emerging in the Vols’ search for a head coach.
Bruce Feldman reported earlier today that USC offensive coordinator Tee Martin, a national champion QB at Tennessee in the late 1990s, has a legitimate shot to land the job.
Kirk Herbstreit is a fan of this.
The ESPN college football analyst says Martin is a “logical pick” and would be a “great hire.”
Love Tee. His success at USC as an OC and background experience at UT as an outstanding player make him a very logical pick. Be a great move by the Vols. https://t.co/ommlAvNue5

Purdue’s Jeff Brohm is another head coach that has been mentioned for the opening in Knoxville.
