Update: ESPN made it official this morning, tweeting a press release about Beadle’s return. Beadle will be the host of SportsNation, with both Marcellus Wiley and Max Kellerman acting as “commentators”. ESPN is also launching an Instagram account dedicated to the show. From ESPN:
“Michelle’s style of delivery has a way of bringing a fun edge to whatever she works on and her range of experience in both sports and entertainment makes her a truly unique talent,” said Norby Williamson, ESPN executive vice president, Production, Program Scheduling and Development. “We know that fans really connect with her personality and we’re happy to welcome her back to ESPN and SportsNation.”
Earlier: Former NBC Sports correspondent Michelle Beadle, who worked at ESPN from 2009-2012 as the co-host of SportsNation, will be returning to the network Monday. While it was reported in late January that Beadle’s return to the Worldwide Leader was on the horizon, it was not known when or in what capacity. According to the tweet that Beadle herself sent out Sunday night, it appears that she’ll be back on SportsNation Monday.

This doesn’t mean that Beadle will be reassuming her previous role permanently. The network could simply be shuffling her around until it unveils a program designed for her. We’ll find out soon enough.
