No offense, Commodores.
Which SEC football stadiums are the toughest to play in?
According to Alabama’s Nick Saban – all of them…except for one.
The Crimson Tide’s head coach said last week that pretty much every place in the conference has an intimidating home venue, except for, maybe, Vanderbilt.
“I’d like for somebody to tell me where we play in this conference that’s not a tough place to play. It’s tough to play at LSU. I haven’t been anywhere … maybe Vanderbilt. And no disrespect to Vanderbilt, they don’t have a big stadium and most of the time, we have more fans than they have. And that’s a tribute to our fans and to the people we have in that area. But every place else we play is a difficult place to play. That’s (Starkville) a difficult place to play as well,” he said.
Vanderbilt fans would probably agree with that.
