The Buckeyes could do something no one’s done in more than 50 years.
It’s been more than 50 years since a college football program had three players selected in the top 15 of back-to-back NFL Drafts.
In the 1954 NFL Draft, three Notre Dame players went top 15 – tackle Art Hunter, halfback Johnny Lattner and fullback Neil Worden. In the 1955 NFL Draft, three Notre Dame players again went top 15 – quarterback Ralph Guglielmi, tackle Frank Varrichione and halfback Joe Heap.
Ohio State could match this year what the Fighting Irish did in the mid-1950s.
The Buckeyes had three players go top 15 in the 2016 NFL Draft – defensive end Joey Bosa, running back Ezekiel Elliott and cornerback Eli Apple.
This year, OSU could have three defensive backs go top 15.
If Hooker, Lattimore, Conley are drafted top-15, it'd be 1st time since 1954-55 a CFB team has back-to-back yrs w/ 3 top-15 picks #OhioState
