The Buckeyes will be returning one of their best defensive linemen.
Ohio State All-Big Ten defensive lineman Jalyn Holmes announced on Instagram this evening his plans for the 2017 season.
He’ll back at OSU.
“I’m truly blessed for my teammates, family and friends I’ve made at The Ohio State University. I learned so much and seen myself grow mentally and physically. I’ve made friendships and bonds that will last forever. But that’s why my senior year is going to be important, so I can enhance my game and my leadership,” he said.
Ohio State’s defense has lost Gareon Conley, Malik Hooker and Raekwon McMillan to early NFL Draft decisions, but are returning Holmes and Sam Hubbard. Elite cornerback Marshon Lattimore has yet to make a decision.
