The Nittany Lions’ commit is back on the market.
Micah Parsons, the No. 3 recruit in the 2018 class, is opening up his recruitment.
The five-star defensive end out of Harrisburg, Pa. had been committed to Penn State since February 2016.
Sunday night, he announced his decommitment from the Nittany Lions.
The 6-foot-3, 235-pound defensive lineman announced his decision on Twitter.
“They are still one of my top schools but I just feel like I committed too soon,” he wrote.

Parsons, the No. 1 defensive end in the country, had been receiving strong interest from Ohio State.
He visited the Buckeyes last weekend for their spring game and many had been predicting an eventual flip.

Clemson, Georgia and Miami have also shown interest lately.
Being the No. 3 recruit in the country, pretty much everyone is going to try to get involved now, but Ohio State is probably the favorite in most recruiting experts’ minds.
